India U-17 Cricket Team at JASE
The India U-17 team comprising of players from the National Cricket Academy had a 3 day training stint at the picturesque cricket grounds at the academy campus under the watchful eyes of coaches from BCCI from 4 th to 7 th July 2007.
Their training sessions comprised of skill training, gym, and cool down exercises at the swimming pool under the watchful eyes of Mr.Raghuram Bhat & Mr.Atul Gaikwad.
Dubai Team Train at JASE
The Indian High School cricket team (U-17), Dubai comprising of 25 members underwent a 10 day coaching stint at the Jain Academy for Sporting Excellence from 21 st to 27 th June 2007.
Veer & Ani Win Medals for JIRS in state ranking badminton tournament
The JIRS badminton team participated in the recently conducted State Ranking badminton Tournament at KGS Club, Bangalore on 22 nd & 23 rd August 2007.There were about 300 participants in the tournament.
Veerdhaval and Ani Aditya of class IX won 2 nd place in Under 15 Boys doubles .

Darshit Excels in 9 Ball Pool Tournament
JASE organized a 9 ball pool tournament in August 2007 for the students of JIRS/JASE and there were more than 100 students who participated in the tournament. This was organized for the first time & the response was overwhelming.

JIRS Beat Seshadhripuram Junior College, Bangalore by 173 Runs
Jain International Residential School (JIRS) Cricket Team (U-17) played a friendly cricket match against Seshadhripuram Junior College, Bangalore at the JIRS Cricket ground on 11 Jul 07. SJC, Bangalore won the toss and elected to bowl. Prathveer Rai (100 not out) & Captain Sakshar Sindhwani (100 not out) played brilliantly and put up an unbeaten 182 runs for the second wicket. Both the centurions retired after scoring hundred. JIRS scored 298 for 3 wkts in 45 overs. In reply SJC, Bangalore were shot out for only 125 runs in 36 overs.

JASE Beat Indian High School, Dubai
Jain International Residential School (JIRS) Cricket Team (U-17) played a friendly cricket match against the touring Indian High School Team from Dubai on 25 Jun 07 at the JIRS Cricket ground. Indian School Dubai won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 126/10 in 30 overs. Suyash Lunawat & Nishit Kedia with 2 wickets apiece were the main wicket takers. In reply JIRS stated of on a wrong note with the first 3 wickets falling for 8 runs only. Nishith Kedia with a well made unbeaten 51 runs helped JIRS to knock the needed runs in 26 overs.

JIRS Vs Presidency High School, (Nandhini Layout) - 26 Jun 06
In the first league match JIRS took on VVS Sardar Patel High School, for the above mentioned cricket tournament at VET Ground (J P Nagar) on 26 Jun 07. JIRS won the toss and elected to field in a 50 overs match. JIRS bowlers bowled terrifically to bundle out VVSSP for a paltry 71 runs. The fielding was sharp and the JIRS fielders took some excellent catches. Suyash Lunawat claimed 4 wickets. JIRS won the match by 09 wkts thanks to Anirudh Gaggar excellent 48 not out.

The second league match for the above mentioned tournament played on matting at St. John Medical College Ground on 28 Jun 07 was against PHS, RT Nagar. JIRS won the toss and elected to field. PHS RT Nagar scored 218/10 in 44 overs. In reply JIRS could score only 189/10 in 36 overs. JIRS was in the hunt till Vishak Eshwar Prasad (86 runs) was in the crease. He did put up a great fight till the end. Once he was dismissed JIRS folded up easily to lose by 32 runs.

P H School won the toss and elected to bat and scored 248/8 runs in the allotted 50 Overs.In reply JIRS could score only 165 runs in 40 overs. Vatsal Sheth top scored for JIRS with 48 runs.

FAPS won the toss and elected to bat and scored 208/10 in 46 overs. In reply JIRS scored 113/10 in 33 overs. Prathveer Rai with 45 runs emerged the top scorer for JIRS.
