The CBSE South Zone Swimming Competition 2006-07 was held at DAV Public School, Chennai from 6 th to 9 th Sep.
The JIRS Swimming team won 3 Gold, 6 Silver and 12 Bronze medals in the championships.
Sujeet Ashok Kulgod (under 19) created a “ NEW MEET RECORD ” in 50 mts Freestyle in CBSE South Zone competition. He has represented Karnataka in the Senior Nationals Aquatic championship in water polo at Bangalore from 21 st to 26 th sep.
The following swimmers have qualified for the CBSE National Swimming Meet to be held at Nagpur from 8 th to 11 th Oct 06.
