For the second year in succession the JIRS Under 14 Cricket Team will be touring Sri Lanka to participate in the International Invitation Cricket Tournament for the Nelson Mendis Challenger trophy from December 10 to December 20, 2005. A total of 28 teams ( 04 Groups) will be taking part in the tournament which will be played on league cum knockout basis.
The JIRS team comprising of 15 members will be leaving for Sri Lanka on December 08, 2005 by the Sri Lanka Airlines. The team will be captained by Master Unnat Patel. Wg.Cdr.(retd) A.K.Jha VSM, Executive Director; Jain Academy for sporting Excellence will accompany the team along with the coach, M.Krishna. The JIRS team is placed in Group “D” .Roy Dias C A and CCC School of cricket are who placed in the same group,
