Profile of Coaches
To complement the incredible sports infrastructure at JASE, former and current National and International level players with an enviable track and coaching experience have been enlisted to supplement the efforts of the regular coaches at the Academy by imparting professional training to the trainees in different sports disciplines.

Cricket- Brad Murphy- Coaching Director of Australian Sports Gateway Academy

Brad Murphy is the Coaching Director of Australian Sports Gateway Academy, in South East Queensland and the First Grade Coach of South Brisbane District cricket club.

As Level 3 Coach, his cricket coaching includes involvement at all levels from the grassroot level where he has worked as a development officer for both the Q.C.A. and clubs through to First Class level where he is currently the wicket keeping coach for the Queensland Bulls.

He is a specialist coach for the renowned Australian Sports Camps, which runs clinics throughout the country and is a specialist coach at ACGS and Iona colleges.

Tennis- Enrico Piperno – Former Indian Davis Cup Player

Enrico Piperno has been the first Indian to win a Grandslam title in mixed doubles at France Open 1997 as coach of Mahesh Bhupati. He has also been coach to Leander Peas, Sania Mirza and Women's Tennis Team at Doha Asian Games 2006. He has Ranked No 1 In India for five Occasions In the eighties. At present he is the captain of Indian Federation Cup Team.

Football- Greg Brown – ASIA ‘A’ license, Australian National license, Australian Senior license instructor.

Basketball- JD Walsh – American Basketball Hoops Guru and Founder of JD Basketball School, New York.

The 35 year old renowned American Basketball Hoops Guru and Founder of J D Basketball School, New York has one goal in life - globalising the game and contributing towards world peace.
The basketball training methods developed by him have been implemented by collegiate, professional players and coaches worldwide. Involved with basketball for almost 30 years, J D Walsh has received honorable mention as McDonald's HS All American, played at the University of Maryland.
He has been the Consultant Coach of US Elite All-Stars, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Chinese Basketball Association and the Basketball Federation of India.

Squash- Mekhala Srivastava - National squash player.

Tennis- Peter Tramacchi – Singles and Doubles ATP Challengers Winner and Consultant to TAP (Targeted Athlete Programme) for Tennis New South Wales and Tennis Australia

Peter Tramacchi is the winner of 3 ATP tour challengers in singles on three different surfaces and winner of 5 ATP tour challengers in doubles. He has been consultant to TAP (Targeted Athlete Program) for Tennis New South Wales and Tennis Australia. His profile includes:

• Australian Junior Davis Cup Captain/Coach 2004
• Completed Tennis Australia's Certified High Performance Coach Training.
• He has had a career high singles ranking 127 and Career high doubles ranking 44
• Winner of world championship for Junior Davis Cup held in Italy.
• He has held an ATP ranking between 180 and 220 for 03 years.

Swimming- Pradeep Kumar – Coach of Indian Swimming Team.

Golf - Ranjith Namjoshi – Indian Golfer.

Football- Scott GrimShaw – EUFA ‘B’ license, Australian State license, Australian senior license instructor.

Billiards- Srinivas – Former Player and Secretary of Karnataka Billiards Association.

Cricket -V Venkatram – Coach of the National Cricket Academy

Hockey- Dhanraj- Ballal Hockey Academy, Bangalore

Dhanraj-Ballal Hockey Academy was founded by Padma Shree Dhanraj Pillai and Arjuna Puraskar winner Ashish Ballal, both internationals and Olympians with over a decade of experience in playing and coaching hockey. Young and talented players are trained in modern hockey techniques at the academy that also doubles up as a feeder route for Indian national hockey team. The Academy located in Bangalore has trainees in the age group of 16 - 21 years.

Cricket - JP School of Cricket

Sri AV Jayaprakash has been associated with cricket for over four decades. ‘JP’ as he is affectionately known has been involved with sports as cricketer, umpire, coach and administrator. A former Indian Test Cricketer, he represented Karnataka State for 16 years in 69 Ranji Trophy Matches before his stint as Cricket Umpire. Till date he has officiated in a host of Test and One Day Internationals apart from innumerable first-class matches.

Having captained his State Ranji Cricket side on several occasions, JP's all-round skills and his amazing knowledge of the game of Cricket earned him special respect from his colleagues and the rivals alike. After retiring from first-class cricket in 1985, his long cherished dream of establishing a cricket school was realized with the establishment of "JP School of Cricket". Over the years, the school has grown in stature.

Table Tennis - Match Point Table Tennis Academy

Sri GK Vishwanath
is the founder of Match Point Table Tennis Academy, Bangalore. He is a former Indian International Table Tennis Player and a three time National Champion. He has more than 300 Championship medals to his credit and represented Karnataka State for 25 years besides being the captain of the state team for over a decade.

Sri GK Vishwanath was the coach to the Indian Table Tennis Team to China and Korea following his appointment by the Table Tennis Federation.

Basketball - Burn Basketball Academy

This is the first Basketball Academy of its kind in India. The concept of the Academy was conceived and executed by two experts in the game, a former basketball international, Sri R Rajan and Sri SR Bharath, a former state player and the Vice-President of the Karnataka State Basketball Association.

The Academy aims at inculcating in youngsters the basics of the game. Mr. Stan Morrison, an American coach with whom Sri Rajan established a rapport during a visit to the United States, has prepared its programme.

Special equipment is used for the training with former state and international basketballers assisting in the programme. Players from eight to 22 years of age are trained at the Academy throughout the year.

Martial Arts- Martial Arts Trust

Sri Shihan Praveen Ranka has trained in martial arts since 1975 and was the first to be graded Black Belt in the state of Karnataka.

Sri Shihan has trained under several national and international ‘senseis’ and has dedicated his time to the training and advancement of Karate-Do through the Martial Arts Trust founded by him. He has the honor of being trained under the late Dr. Renshi, RVT Mani, Hanshi Hisataka, Hanshi Pat Mckean, Kyoshe Shihan Vispi Kapadia, Shihan Scoot Brown, Shihan Tewananae Terupe, Menkyu Shastri and Sensei Hiroshi.

Kenkokan Karate style that he has specialized in is a dynamic and fast expanding style of martial arts. The style has its roots in the traditional and ancient forms but is structured on modern and scientific training methods, which suits all body types.
